The basic device 4500 PL/D-NLV is a connector between the face piece (for example, the full face mask BRK 820) and compressed-air supply hose DZS 9 / DZS 9R to the compressed-air source and includes a negative pressure demand valve with thread co...nnector Rd40x1/7 according to EN 148-1.Additionally, the 4500 PL / D-NLV device has an emergency air supply (NLV) function in conjunction with an automatic switch valve (AUV).The AUV is mounted at a mini self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus and changes over to the compressed air cylinder (2-3 l volume) if the compressed-air supply fails. The warning signal in the demand valve can be heard directly and calls for immediate retreat from the dangerous area.
