The cylinder trolley FW 2500 INOX is completely made of stainless steel and designed to take up two compressed-air breathing air cylinders with a capacity of
50 liters. Depending on the filling pressure of the compressed-air breathing air cylinders (20,000 at 200 bar
or almost 28,000 l at 300 bar), the air supply leads to operating times of approx. 6.5 or 9 hours at a breathing rate with demand valves
of 50 l / min.
The steerable and lockable back wheels are electrostatically conductive. Furthermore, the cylinder trolley is equipped with two
hose drums that can be manually rolled-up via hinged handles made of stainless steel each with a 50 m
compressed-air supply hose DZS 9 with breathing air couplings AK2 INOX, as well as a storage box that can be removed made of stainless steel
to take up respiratory protection devices.

In the field of mobile air supply,
we offer you standard products and tailor-made solutions specially made
according to your wishes.
Standard products include cylinder trolleys
in different sizes, mobile breathing air cases and
car trailers equipped with the required respiratory protection technology.
If your needs differ from the standard, we will develop a
special solution that you need together
with you. We develop, produce and give training.
Experience with our cylinder trolley systems which have been reliable for decades showed that the various and usually rough operating conditions, e.g. in the chemical industry can only be taken into account by means of a consistent selection of materials. FW 2500 was designed accordingly. Corrosion-resistant material is used. The cylinder trolley including hose drums are made out of stainless steel!

The design is suitable for taking up two x breathing air cylinders with a capacity of 50 liters. Depending on the filling pressure of the breathing air cylinders (20,000 at 200 bar or almost 28,000 l at 300 bar), the air supply leads to operating times of approx. 6.5 or 9 hours at a breathing rate with demand valves of 50 l / min. These are certainly theoretical values which, however, allow enough reserves and above all enable the supply of several devices at the same time.

In the following, the characteristics or options are shown that enable the user to configure a tailor-made breathing air supply with the FW 2500 device:

Safety eye bolt, cylinder safety interlock, safety handles and separate adapters for the valve protection caps.
Safety chassis, four solid rubber wheels The smaller wheels are anti-static and castor wheels with "total stop". The balanced weight distribution ensures smooth handling characteristics.
The compressed-air cylinders can be exchanged without problems, since the support jack which can be folded out and locked counteracts any falling back of the carrier.
High pressure piping made of stainless steel, ventilated shut-off valves with non-return valves which allow the change of a cylinder when the second cylinder is operated further.
Pressure reducer with an integrated high and medium pressure manometer, safety valve and acoustic warning device at a cylinder pressure of approx. 30 bar. Two safety coupling for breathable air; activation of the warning device in the demand valves of the air-line respirators series 4500 PL.
Filling connection; the cylinders can be directly filled without removal from the car; also possible: Feed-in due to external cylinder battery etc.
Lockable hose reels with a hand crank for a compressed-air supply hose of up to 50 m.
Integrated transport locks for the hose couplings.
Removable, transportable storage box for taking up face pieces, entire compressed-air breathing apparatuses or further accessories.

Option: Additional warning device, e.g. during operation with the hood:

If the remaining cylinder pressure reaches approx. 55 +/- 5 bar, a warning signal in advance in the form of a continuously sounding whistle signal can be heard. After appropriate instruction, this must be regarded as a withdrawal signal for the persons wearing the hood with their higher air consumption of up to 300 l / min. Demand respirators can be further operated depending on the ambient conditions.
When the cylinder pressure reaches approx. 30 bar, the intermittent whistle of the pressure reducer can be heard together with the direct response of the warning device in the demand valve of the user (4500 PL series). The site must be left immediately.
Mobile breathing air supply
Repair and maintenance work often requires the use of respiratory protection equipment.
Due to constructional conditions or in the case of remote locations and under consideration of the current pollutant load, these operations can usually only be carried out
with respiratory protection devices that are independent of the ambient air.
However, the constructional conditions often make it impossible that a self-contained breathing apparatus can be
carried along or longer operating times are needed.
For such operations, mobile breathing air supplies for compressed-air breathing apparatuses
with a demand valve have been designed.
Cylinder trolley
Cylinder trolley systems consist of a stable stainless steel carrier. They are used for the safe
transport of compressed-air cylinders. Furthermore, these systems have a permanently-installed
cylinder pressure reducer and, depending on the design, up to two hose reels for the compressed air supply hoses.
Due to the position of the cylinders, their weight is optimally transferred to the chassis and
makes it easy to move.
